ECIL, selected by IndianOil as the main contractor, awarded the contract for Chennai-Trichy-Madurai product pipeline to ttc. The scope of ttc s.r.o. covers leak detection, batch tracking, pig tracking, interface tracking, predictive and look-ahead modelling, cathodic protection monitoring and pipeline efficiency supervision for this 683 km pipeline. The SCADA system to be integrated with pipeline application package is ECSCADA by ECIL, running on Tru-64 HP Unix operating system.
