Leak detection, batch&pig tracking and off-line simulation on crude oil pipeline “Druzhba” operated by MERO. The pipeline system consists of eight interconnected parallel pipelines, diameters 200, 500 and 700 mm. Pipeline Management System was provided as a part of the general pipeline automation provided by Transmitton (UK). PipeMan is integrated with Transmitton’s CROMOS 2000. MERO is the operator of Druzhba and IKL pipelines and crude oil storages in Czech Republic.
